The us is now a she; Carrie Gilstrap-Nettle (editor, webperson, and all else OC) lives in Olympia. She shockingly often uses a pen to write and regrets not trying paste at least once as a child.

Carrie has published sparsely, preferring to spend her time writing and editing. She teaches poetry, non-fiction, and fiction classes in local public schools near her home; her students range from kindergarten to high school age, and she is a student herself at Evergreen State College.

Kenneth P. Gurney founded Origami Condom with Carrie Gilstrap-Nettle in July of 2007. Although Kenneth and Carrie chose the name together among options, Kenneth Gurney created the name Origami Condom in a short story he wrote. In December 2008 he retired from Origami Condom to pursue other adventures.

His book "Greeting Card and other poems" was published in Nov 2008 and "Writers' Block" will be available about April 2009. As Kenneth would say, "Live a good poem ...."
